Returns & Exchanges
We care deeply about your satisfaction with our premium human hair products. Because wigs, lace frontals, closures, and extensions are personal, delicate items, we have specific guidelines to ensure fairness, hygiene, and quality. Please review these carefully so your return or exchange can be processed smoothly.
Eligibility and request process:

All return or exchange requests must be submitted within 24 hours of delivery date. After that, we consider the hair “accepted” and no store credit/exchanges can be issued.

To begin, please email us with clear photographs of the hair showing the texture, packaging, any defects, and the label. This helps us verify whether the product meets our policy standards. We will reply with return instructions only once we confirm eligibility.
Conditions for store credit:

All orders are final sale in terms of refunds. We do not offer cash or payment-method refunds—only store credit.

Store credit is granted only if the product is returned in its original, untouched condition. This means:

Hair must not be removed from original packaging.

Must not be washed, brushed, finger-combed, styled, installed, chemically processed (bleached, dyed, relaxed), or altered in any way.

Lace frontals, closures, or wigs with lace — if the lace has been cut, the item is no longer eligible for returns for store credit.

Customer is responsible for return shipping cost. We recommend using a trackable and insured method.
What might disqualify a return:

Hair that has been damaged after installation, due to excessive heat, chemicals, or other improper care.

Packaging damage or product alteration after delivery (e.g. washing, combing, cutting lace).

Return requests submitted after the 24-hour window following delivery.
Exchange process:

If you want to exchange for a different product (length, type, color, etc.), you must return your original order (meeting all eligibility criteria), receive store credit, and then place a new order.
Store credit issuance:
- Once your returned items are received at our warehouse and pass our examination process, your store credit will be issued within 5 business days. You’ll receive a confirmation email when credit is applied.
- Store credit is valid for purchasing any in-stock items, subject to availability and our standard terms.
At Shea Hair Collective, our goal is for you to feel proud, beautiful, and confident in your hair. While we cannot offer refunds, we do everything possible to ensure your experience is positive.
